Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University places importance on ensuring gender equality in research and development processes and institutional culture. The fundamental management approach of our university is based on developing and implementing a policy that provides balance, diversity, and equal rights among female and male academic, administrative staff, and students. The Gender Equality Action Plan aims to prevent inequality between women and men in the institutional structure. The implementation of this action plan, which covers a three-year period (2023-2026), has been guaranteed by the University Senate and will be conducted and monitored by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Women's and Family Studies Application and Research Center (MAKÜ KASAUM). The plan will be audited based on the evaluation of implementation results, and changes may be made if deemed necessary. Within the scope of the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Gender Equality Action Plan, the University Senate commits to carrying out work on the following issues throughout the University.
